"Pichhwai is a temple-hanging art form that originated in Nathdwara, Rajasthan, over 350 years ago, traditionally used to depict scenes from the life of Krishna. Each motif is illustrated stroke by stroke, master artisans bringing alive the harmony of nature and its inhabitants on cloth once meant only for sacred shrines. What began as a serendipitous encounter with the art form inside one of Rajasthan's architectural heritage structures became an act of craft preservation — translating a sacred painting tradition, historically rendered for temple walls, onto the language of contemporary bridal couture.

Our Verdant Bandhgala from the Love All F/W 2026 collection is an ode to the timeless craft of Pihhwai paintings. Its intricate motifs were always made to catch the light amidst birds and blooms hand-painted by master artisans. Finished in tonal threadwork on a canvas of silk, this classic bandhgala comes with full sleeves & a front pocket.
