"Rooted in the royal courts of Rajasthan over four centuries ago, Gota Patti is the art of transforming metallic ribbon into something that catches the light the way joy catches a room. Each motif, a flower, a trailing vine, a geometric border, is cut and folded by hand, then appliquéd onto fabric with a precision that belongs entirely to the artisan who placed it.​

The motifs are botanical and buoyant: florals & vines find their own expression across the drape, rendered in cord embroidery & threadwork.
