Crafts Of India
“Our world is not ours alone. Humanity can only survive and thrive by co-existing harmoniously with all living beings that share the planet with us. We’ve always believed that fashion can be a force for good, which led to our initiative, Rewild - a fashion fundraiser for nature and elephant conservation. A crucial call to preserve our planet’s extraordinary wildlife and pristine habitats.”
- ANITA DONGRE
Set against the historic backdrop of City Palace, Jaipur - Rewild 2023 was co-hosted by Princess Gauravi Kumari and Kartiki Gonsalves. All proceeds raised went to the Nature Conservation Foundation (NCF) to amplify their project in South India addressing human-elephant conflict and promoting peaceful coexistence.
Rewild 2026 will be hosted at the resplendent Lakshmi Vilas Palace in Vadodara.
Commissioned in 1878 by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III and completed in 1890, the palace is the world’s largest private residence. An architectural marvel, it embodies global design influences fused with local artisanal craftsmanship of the era. The palace spans an area four times the size of Buckingham Palace.
Co-hosted by the Maharani of Baroda, Radhikaraje Gaekwad, the fashion for good event will expand its vision across a new landscape, drawing from Gujarat’s rich craft heritage and architectural beauty.
The day unfolds with a signature ‘Fashion for Good’ brunch , set against the palace's stunning backdrop. This thoughtfully curated gathering celebrates the remarkable work of organisations and individuals championing the animal welfare movement, and brings together those committed to shaping its future.
The evening will culminate in a fashion gala, featuring Anita Dongre’s Rewild collection, presented in support of the cause.
